  1. Meg Whitman is despicable. Her “California *is* a welfare state” radio ads are just disgusting… I can’t believe I’m hearing this type of stereotypical welfare-baiting crap in 2010. See the Sacramento Bee’s “Ad Watch” response to it: “Ad Watch: Whitman uses welfare statistics selectively”

    Does Meg propose making children work for their welfare benefits?!? Does she propose making mothers with children under 2 years old do “community service” without providing childcare (which would be more expensive than letting them stay home and take care of their kids)? Despicable, lying…
